    Lads whats the tidiest external sat nav? i want something i can out in the car but dont have to mount on the windscreen?

    anyone got a small/slim one mounted on the dash/trim somewhere?

    I have the Nuvi 300 mounted neatly on my dash, looks well. Nuvi's are not as chunky as say TomToms

    What you have to remember is that small means a screen you can't read and a battery that will last an hour and no more.

    If you don't want to have to mount the unit on the screen then there is a Garmin friction mount which sits on the dash....
