has anyone ever successfully got a dell machine from their UK ebay site http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Dell-Outlet - I know that they will only deliver to UK address but I was wondering can you buy with an Irish CC.

The choice is just so much better than the irish site.

It says on the bottom of the page:

'Unfortunately we can only deliver to the United Kingdom!'

Do you pay through Paypal, or do they do their own credit card processing? If you pay through Paypal, then I'd say the delivery address would have to be confirmed, which would rule it out for us. If they do their own processing, then it'll probably be to the card holders address, which wouldn't work for us either.

they will only process CC and insist on a UK address. I was wondering if anyone had successfully paid via Irish CC and got the machine posted to a UK address

I cannot see why it wouldn't work. I got mine on the ebay.ie site. You do not pay via paypal, it was via the usual dell route, over the phone. It was sent to my work address (i.e. not the c/c address).

I thought of doing the same trick, since my company has offices in the UK and I could have got it thrown in with some pallets, or a co-worker could have brought it, or just pay the additional postage to get it to here from there.

There could well be reshippers in the UK that would do it too, there are a few doing that in the US.
