I wouldn't trust that site with my email address, never mind CC details - has anyone ever used it even?

Yup I used it, very good service.

Huge gamesnash love in on the GTA forum if you wanna have a look. They hand delivered copies in parts of Dublin on the release day when it looked like their might be a problem with postage.

I've used it before myself no worries. Obviously just a screw up on the site.

I actually think gamesnash.ie is the username of someone on boards. Maybe contact him/her?

They are quite trustworty from what everyone on the gta board says, and yes there is a user called gamesnash.ie. I also got the €10000 "free" delivery there, so i sent them a mail asking them to check it. Will let you know once i get a reply.

Jesus...wasnt postage free on gamesnash before they revamped the site????

Web designers wages are a little too demanding

    Maybe they use DHL?

They have fixed the free shipping now. Got an email earlier, and have ordered it for myself. Sweet.

As we have been saying for the last few hours - we feel like Willie Walsh trying to explain how the opening of Heathrows Terminal 5 was an utter disaster :D

Bottom line is we launched the revamped site without fully testing it ( well lets put it this way we were told it was fully tested etc )

However there have been some as Willie would say "teething problems"

    1) Firefox browser is throwing up a catalog of display errors
    2) The shipping rates were programmed by a dyslexic ( not that we are slagging those who suffer from dyslexia ) but basically the site is programmed to offer free shipping up to 30kg being the max we can ship in one go and then display a charge. This was programmed wrong way round so you would have to order over 30kg in weight to get free shipping.
    3) Due to a database problem transferred user accounts had all been set to Afghanistan rather than Ireland so a load of people who did not notice this found that they could not order as the site told them we did not ship to their region.

So its fair to say we are a bit pissed off with our web designers and they do know it too. Most errors have been resolved by now but the firefox display issue is still casuing a head ache. For what its worth flogen we dont get credit card details at all - they are processed off site by Worldpay so no need to worry there.

Sorry about the inconveniences today guys - but we laughed ourselves at the 10k shipping :D

I was of the same opinion, but they really came through with my GTAIV order. I'll definitely be using them again anyway!
New site design looks a bit iffy though (not very Firefox friendly either...)

Rogue code has been found that was causing the firefox meltdown - not very happy it took them 14 hours to do so ! Few little bugs still being ironed out but the main ones are now put to bed thank God.

saying the site can't be trusted and then asking has anyone even used it.

congrats, idiotic post of the day.

plenty of positive feedback about GN if you look around flogen.

@gamesnash; the hand-made deliveries on GTA-day was a masterful move, kudos on that one, i reckon that won you a lot of customers.

To be fair - if a site has a geansai load of issues when you first come across it you can't blame someone for being hesitant to trust it.

The hand delivery thing was just one of those moments where we were facing a disaster if people did not get their GTA's on time. It was our first real test for hundreds of customers ( look at the bad press the other online sites are getting who still have not delivered it ! ) and we just decided to get out their and start hand delivering them to be on the safe side. It has won us a lot of friends as you say so we're very happy that providing the service to our Irish customers is paying dividends.

I said I didn't trust the site and asked if anyone else had any experiences with it.

You're going to have to explain to me how that's idiotic.

It seems the site has a great reputation and fair play to them for going the extra mile to get the job done - fair play to them also for turning up here and talking about the site issues they're working on amongst other things; it would have been far easier for them to not bother or to get all precious the minute someone said anything remotely questionable about the site.
