ok, so we are sure now that the final 5 are from earth. we are pretty they are cylons, although maby not in the same way as we currently know cylons. we have also been told that this will all happen again and that it is cyclical.

so what the 12 colonoy's are just skin jobs from when earth created cylons. maby through the passing of time, or programming, they came to think of themselves as humans. they then created cylons who then created skin jobs.

But this happened before, where on another planet "humans" created cylons, who created skin jobs who went to earth. this could go back in time infinately, but it means that the story continues, and the 12 colonys, and earth are all cylons, albeit from different era's. I could flesh this out a lot and explain how the final 5 came to be from earth but what do you think of the idea so far?

I think it's one of the likely outcomes. I will be slightly pissed off if this is the case though.

Yep, I've been thinking the same.

It would neatly dovetail with lots of clues given and wrap up the story well.


Have to say, BG is on top form for a TV series, rather like Buffy at it's best. Shame more people aren't watching it.

It's a tad Matrix-esque. What are the chances that at the end of the series, the Chosen One (Baltar) has to choose X male and Y female individuals to become the Cylon models for the next cycle.
