Keyboardist wanting to join/start a prog/symphonic metal band

    Hi there,

    I'm a keyboardist that's been playing for a few years. I'm not exactly Jordan Rudess but I'm handy enough and getting better. I'd be really interested in joining or starting a metal band. I've never played live, or been in a band before, but I do write my own stuff. Lately I've been itching to get myself out there while I'm still young. 20 y/o, male, south dublin.

    I have a good range of influences but I'd be interested mainly in a prog/sympho sound. Something kinda crazy with a lot of variety.

    Influences: Nightwish, Dream Theater, After Forever, Epica, Metallica, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Within Temptation, BFMV, Evanescence, Michael Jackson (a little out of the way but I thought I'd throw that in there)

    So if there are any singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers or full bands out there interested, PM me and let me know please. I'm pretty decent vocal-wise too ;)

    I'm the guitarist in a powerish metal band with a female singer and we're looking to try out a keyboardist! You are into pretty much the exact same stuff we are and we're based in rathfarnham which isn't too far away at all from you so PM if you're interested.
