    8 and 16's out of stock in lots of places now. Probably only still in Ireland because of the ridiculous prices. Roll on the 3G version....

    They're following the trend seen about Europe at the moment. I'm doing my best to resist temptation, I'm going to wait till the new 3G model comes out and hopefully by then Apple will have made them SIM Free too like the web seems to be suggesting at the moment.

    Sim free would be very nice, but I suspect costly. Still, better than being tied into a ridiculous contract. 3G won't sway it for me though, not unless they beef up a few other features on it too (and fix the keyboard for texting - I've tried it in the shops and man do I hate that thing! My fingers appeared to be too fat and I'm not exactly a big guy :p)
