Hello, my name is Ed. I try and write songs but rarely finish them. I could do with bouncing ideas off a fellow songwriter.

If any musicians/songwriters out there are up for a bit of collaboration, give me a shout.

I’ve no grand plans, I just want to write a bunch of songs, record them and perhaps do a gig here and there. Tunes first – everything else will follow.

Give me a shout if you’re interested and we can talk more.

Just to give you an idea…

I like: Ryan Adams, Daft Punk, Richard Hawley, The Knife, The Strokes, Cake, Marvin Gaye, Arcade Fire, The Smiths etc (the list is endless)

New on the ipod: Cut Copy, Gary Dunne, Wilco, Cathy Davey & Rilo Kiley

    Hi Ed,
I play piano and would like to try a bit of songwriting. I like Irish Rock and Modern Country/soul popular and singer-songwriter stuff. I am not anymore than grade 3 or 4 standard but it would be great to see what we could come up with.

Hello ed.... I'm in a similar'ish kinda boat, I've been making much more of an effort lately (18months) to try and complete songs & succeeding. I have done a bit of collaboration in the past, its hard to get it just right but some of the better songs I've done have been collaborations. I play guitar only & sing a bit...

First Q, roughly where are you based, I'm in Kildare myself, I'll be straight up, I hope your local cos I am not driving far... between work minding babies & general rat race stuff I'm sure you know the story, sorry. I like your music taste's!! I have noticed recently that I listen to new music less & less....??
