    Hi,

I'm thinking of putting down some decking approx 14ft6 x 10ft6. This will be going over an existing cobblelock area. Is thereanything i can put down to guarntee no weeds will come up through the decking. I was going to put down the thick black liner over the cobblelock but was wondering should i put something on the cobblelock first?
Also, I need to gt the bark for the beds and will need quite a lot for it - is thre anywhere to buy it cheaper than the bags from b+q or woodies. I know they do 3 for 2 but it still works out very expensive for the amount i need. Cheers.

I remember pricing it a few years ago from Coillte in Cor Na Mona, Galway. They do the large lorry loads of 20 cubic metres. They do sell smaller loads, but you have to provide the smaller lorry as far as I remember. Worth giving them a ring if you are in the West.

I've put bark mulch on top of weed barrier before under decking to keep the weeds at bay.

    Edit :-
    Found that info... it was
    20m3 delivered for 630 euro.
29eur m3 if collected in trailer.

Also my Local hardware had were selling 3000 litre bags for €175 two years ago if thats any help.
