I had an item on Ebay, specifically statign any one with less than 5 (100 % ) feedback needs to email before bidding

a zero feedback bid, and I cancelled, and a minute before bid again, and won

in meantime she had asked why canceled and I explained.

She instantly paid by paypal !#

How do i cancel this sale ?

    cheers

You can refund the paypal payment, and then open a dispute for the item and request a mutual withdrawal agreement.

Why would you want out if they have paid ?

Agree with this. Youre paid. Why not go ahead. Sure the bidder broke your rule, but how else are people meant to start buying on ebay without that first bid?

To be more secure about accepting the payment, check if the person is Paypal verified. Then, if they are in the UK, check is their address confirmed. This would give you a fair degree of certainty that it's not a scam account. Finally, does the address they're giving you look OK, i.e. not a PO box or dodgy looking business address, and not in Nigeria?

If all looks OK, then why not go ahead. If the value is large, then maybe not, but if it's small, then why not.

Also, I'd use registered delivery so as to help avoid possible Paypal claim against non delivery, if you're still uncertain about the buyer.

Its not so much they broke a rule ( a sensible rule I'd of thought seeing how hard it is to move back from a sale even to a scammer)
its that in emails I explained this and they still bid a minute after I cancelled their previous bid

They have been an ebay member for 3 yrs but have zero feedback, the name on emails is different than the name on notification of payment etc

    I am just wary,

Some of that does sound dodgy. Maybe do as zarquon says and refund the payment, and submit a mutual withdrawal request. If you get nowhere with that, report the buyer.
