Can you believe the line-up for this summer?

Bonnie Prince Billy in Vicar St (got my ticket!)
Tom Waits (will do unspeakable things for a ticket...)
Rufus Wainwright - Solo in Cork(might cancel my trip to Amsterdam and get a ticket...)

Also Lisa Hannigan, Vyvienne Long, Daniel Johnston, and Jenny Lindfors' new album!

Does this not make you want to take off the shoes and grab a beer? :D

What acoustic gigs are ye all looking forward to this summer - in Ireland?

(checked the sticky - the above are not part of the 'unmentionables' as far as I know)

That'll be deadly anyway. She was support at the gig I was at last night. Brilliant so she is.

Yeah, I know, she' s fantastic. I have worn the CD out, bought a copy for everyone I know, and I have yet to miss any of her own gigs. :D

I would actually love to start a thread to discuss her music with other guitar players, but I don't think there's enough interest on the boards.

Last night I was torn between going to the Sugar Club, or to Temple Bar to see Saul Williams. In the end there was somewhere I had to go, so that was the end of it.
