I am a girl, firstly. Which you probably would have guessed by my issue but oh well.

My problem is with my genital region. There's nothing actually wrong with it, so I'm not looking for medical advice. It's to do with the way it looks. The inner labia are large (not considerably, but bigger than the outter 'lips') and very pink. I'm unsure about it.
I guess what I'm asking is; do many other women have vaginas like this? And do men find it off-putting?

Being brutally honest, i would have to say that while "ugly" would be a harsh word, some vaginas are easier on the eyes than others.. maybe im just shallow though!

AFAIK there is a cosmetic procedure you can have done if you're really unhappy with it, porn stars get it done a lot.. Sounds feckin sore though

Guys are often told not to compare themselves to what they see in porno films but I don't think the same point is emphasised to girls enough.

IMO yes there are certain types that look aesthetically more pleasing than others just like there is the same issues with penises. So if there's girls who would turn down a guy because of what his penis looks like then there's probably roughly the same proportion of guys who would turn a girl down based on the appearance of her vagina, (in fact probably less because it's a sellers market ). In both cases these people are few and far between and clearly not the type of person you would want to be with anyway.

OP rest assured that it looks hot to any guy who's lucky enough to get to see it.

Dont worry op, as others have stressed everyone is different, and yes there are women out there that look like you. You can be pretty sure no guy out there is going to be turned off by it, and if its a pinky kind of coulor it just means that the skin is healthy

Not only is it hugely painful it generally leaves the area with a lot of scar tissue and less feeling than before. Chances of ever having an orgasm are greatly reduced.
Why on earth would any sane thinking woman have bits of her fanny chopped of in order to make it look nicer Life is not a porn movie, people come in all shapes and sizes. Also what man would ever be crazy enough to get his penis made to look more attractive to any woman? None because mad as they may be in some way they at least have their heads screwed (non pun) intended on with that regard.
Finally, if your in a compromising situation with any man and he pulls back because he doesn't like the look of your vagina, (rather than being damn grateful that you decided to get naked and bump uglies with him) then you're well rid of him.

In my experience i do have a preference but honestly, the input would do little for this thread. I should have stated in my last post that it was purely my opinion.

I've had girlfriends with more attractive vagina's than others, but its never affected how i felt about them, it was just something i noticed. So if i was the OP, i wouldn't worry about it at all.

Men's willies come in all shapes and sizes. So do women's genitals. As does each and every body out there, it's the joy of human variety.

OP, there is nothing wrong with you. Instead of worrying about the shape of your labia, focus more on getting enjoyment from your body. Your genitals are there to give you pleasure, regardless of their shape, which hopefully they do.

Surprisingly some men (not many) get circumcised for exactly this reason. I hope this sort of carry on doesn't start happening with women too. Variety is the spice of life after all!

I wasn't saying I'd ever get it done, just informing that's all.. I personally cringe at the thought of it...

very common for the inner labia to be longer than the outer - sometimes just one. Inner labia generally thinner than the outer. But as said, all different......all do the same job. Better off comparing toes with other people, or hair, or fingernails etc.

I wasn't having a go at you (or anyone else to be honest), I just latched onto the link you gave to give my 2 cents worth:)
It just irks me that in this wonderful modern age of liberation (ha!) women now seem to judge their self worth solely on how perfect they look. Interestingly I've never met the Board of Perfection nor have I (or any other woman AFAIK) been informed as to how the so called standards of perfection came about.
I've had my fill of women thinking that their boobs must be this big, their waists this small, their nose like celeb X, lips like celeb Y, never allowed to look more than 30 years old (if that even) despite age hitting everyone and now this latest trend of vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, etc etc in case some man thinks your fanny isn't attractive enough despite the huge risk of a loss of sensation and so pretty much killing off the chance of ever having any real enjoyment from a sexual encounter.
