Anyone have any recommendations for mobile dog groomers in the north county dublin area? My dad is looking for someone that can come to the house, either take the dog away and bring it back or do it on site. Looking for a wash/brush/toe nail clipping.

    Anyone any ideas?

I saw a girl do it the other day, she has a van with the wash basin in it and she groomed a bichon frisse, hair cut and blow dry.

I'm going to give the following a call to see what their prices/service is like but I'd also like to hear from a boardsie who has had a pleasant experience with any of them

I have used mobiledogwash.ie twice and haven't had any problems.

When ringing them I had to just leave a message and then they usually ring back within 24hrs. As far as I can remember their latest appointment was around 3 or 330 and they didnt do Saturdays. I could be wrong on this but I remember having to take time off work, which was a bit crappy.

They pull up in a big van and basically plug into one of your sockets and then bring the dog out and hes groomed to perfection. They seem to have all the washing/drying and whatever else they need equipment.

Think it was about 70 for my collie to be done, took about an hour. Ive never used any other grooming service and I will probably go with these guys again, as the two girls that come around are v. nice and friendly and do a good job.

    HI
I've used Doggie Style the last three times for my westie and found them great. Saves all the driving to the groomers and going back 3 hours later, plus its a one-to-one service, only one dog at a time so less stressful for his lordship as it's over quicker.

I usually ring and leave a message and they call back pretty promptly. Like all groomers they're very busy so give them plenty of notice. A bit dearer but worth it and very nice girl who listens to what you want done.
