Hi, I've done a search and haven't been able to find anything regading the following laptop. How good is the graphics card in this laptop? And is there something important i'm missing when looking at the specs. It seems really good value.

Great value. Graphics card is decent for a laptop and excellent for that price range - comparable to the Nvidia 8400GS; but that said is fairly old and doesn't support SM3, essential for certain newer games like Bioshock/Rainbow Six Vegas. Most games work without, however, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, etc but there are an odd few that SM3 is a requirement.

Speaking of new laptops, im off to buy a new one myself. I've decided on the Alienware Area-51 m15x. Now these machines have to be customized, and im not all that tech smart. I won't be going for a basic model thats for sure because i want speed, and lots of it, but im assuming it would be impossible to somehow produce a machine that is worse than my 4 year old Toshiba, right?
