    Hi all

    I have a nokia N73 that has given me endless software problems and has been sent back 2 or 3 times to be fixed ( 1yr old at this stage) . However the main centre button which selects everything seems to be crocked (permanently pushed down). As a result every time I unlock it the phone just starts selecting things.

    Anyway I think I am on one of those 18 mth contracts so I have 6mths to go. If I want a new phone now, is it likely that my current provider will let me upgrade given the problems I have? Are my only other options to switch networks, or to buy sim free off expansys or something like that?

    Why was the handset sent back? Is this problem related? Why didn't they replace the handset for you if you've been having so much trouble?

    Do you have the handset insured?

    not insured, the other problems were all software - this is a physical problem with the button
