My first B&W [C&C]

    Hi well this was really the first time I actually put time and effort into a B&W
    I am fairly new to PS, so please any advice of what I did right or wrong would help

    the way I converted, was a H&S layer of 0, and tweeted the contrast so it would appear more/less moody

    I added film grain and then blurred it not sure if it worked

    Is the first very grainy, or is that her top?
    Not made on the first, I like the second, I tend to like photos with a high contrast to begin with, as in areas of strong shadows and bright washed areas

    I agree with Mellor, the second shot is very nice. The first one could be great but there is way too much surface area of the table in the shot....it takes attention away from the person and the reason why they are upset in my mind.

    1st 2 are good as they made me feel I was looking at some Samaritans ad campaign.
