Myself and Donal were over there a few weeks back and we were really impressed by it. So much so that we have booked to go back again at the start of June. (7th). The club is really class and really well run with good food, I cant say enough of good things about it. Cash games are lively with apparently 10 - 13 tables on a normal saturday night from 2/2 ROE, 1/2nl, 2/5nl, 5/5 dealers choice, 5/5 omaha and more.

They do a 321 weekend with the main event 300stg entry and it has been getting 150-170 runners which makes for a pretty decent prizepool.

Flights are currently free on Ryanair with a very handy flight at 5.30pm Saturday evening bringing you there with an hour or so to spare. You fly to East Midlands and the club is only 15 mins down the road. On Sunday there is a 12.30pm flight home which will suit the degens through the night, alt if you make day 2 of te tourney you can fly back home at 6.30 am Monday morning.

Just said id pop it up here (esp considering the free flights) as it might interest some people.

    2/2 ROE, 1/2nl, 2/5nl, 5/5 dealers choice, 5/5 omaha and more.

Excuse my ignorance but what's ROE? And I've never heard of dealers choice in a casino. It sounds like absolute madness.

ROE = round of each, one orbit of holdem followed by one orbit of PLO

    ROE - round of each

dealers choice games are hugely popular all over european casinos, particularly in paris and the baltics.

Dealers Choice can be a good loosener sometimes, take people out of their comfort zones.

Personally I generally avoid mixed games like the plague, although might look them up to try develope as a player.

Sorry I just associate dealers choice with a game some boggers I know play which involves 5-card draw, holdem and southern cross. My bad!

this is exactly what it is. at the start their is a choice of a certain amount of games and then when you are dealer you can choose from these games...played it up here in letterkenny a bit...

there were two 5/10 games running last time i was there but im not sure if they run regularly or if its just cos all the scandis were there. If its getting up to 13 tables from Thur - Sun id be surprised if a 5/10 game wasnt in the mix

Nice place? Only ever been to the Gala over there. Nottingham tends to be more about chasing tail than poker for me...although there's always a hope I get to eh, poker later on....

Just some advice, dress to impress or you'll be turned away. Basically, no student attire and deffo no runners.
