We're a couple, 25 and 22, looking to go to Ibiza.

We like electro/dance music and are well up for clubbing and madness but would not be too keen on being in the thick of it 24/7 for our holiday.

We'd Ideally like to stay somewhere nice with decent resterants and bars and then taxi in to the big clubbing hub on whatever nights we feel like.

Cheapness is not essential. Happy to pay that but extra for a nice place with nice food nearby etc.

All advice and voices of experience would be very welcome!

    Conor

You can stay in one of the villages outside of San Antonio - thats where all the action takes place.

Es Cana is nice and easy to get buses in/out of the Madness :D

Hmmm, Es Cana seems to be plugged as 'very much a family destination'.

i know its been a while since you posted but i hope this helps, try Santa Eulalia (http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/santa_eulalia_i.htm) its just west of es cana and is the gastronomic centre of the island- it has a couple of livley bars a "strip" of very good restaurants and its very easy to get around the rest of the island by bus and taxi. Check out www.ibiza-spotlight.com they have loads of info. its billed as a family spot but in reality its does have a nightlife and does not have loads of screaming kids around
I have been over to Ibiza a few times and for a couple looking to get the most of the clubs and still have a nice time(i.e. going out to clubs but not every night!) it ticks all the boxes, heading over myself this year on Sept 5th and i cant wait!
