    hi guys,

as part of a drainage compliance for 3 houses i got permission for in Glasnevin i am now required to limit the discharge of surface water to 2 L/S.

i cant get a hydrobreak that can limit to this, any tips on where to look?

    thanks.

thats ridiculously slow.... most situations i have seen would be a restriction of 7 l/s... have you clarified that the figure is correct...

Hydro-brake do make 2L/s flow control devices. The orifice is only 50mm so they can get blocked fairly easy. DCC are really enforcing all sites to use 2L/s/ha.

cheers man, was already talking to them and based on our site figures, and head etc the best they can get is 3.71 L/S!

talked to the drainage engineer and we have agreed that permeable paving and a soakaway is the way forward!

    thanks for the help guys.
