    Hi All

I'm traveling to Tuscany this week for my wedding and we need to purchase alcohol due to issues with a bar at the venue. I was looking for any info in relation to bulk buying of alcohol in this area. We are between San Gimignano and Poggibonsi so anywhere in this are is cool.

I have been up to the Co-Op in San G but its a little small and I'm afraid of not being able to get whats required.

    All help appreciated.

    Regards
    Tom

Maybe if you ask someone on the Tripadvisor forum you might get a better response.

    Tom,

    I presume it's wine you're after?

If so, you might want to try this place that I use in Florence http://www.bacconudo.it/ every time that we're over.

They have a big selection of wines, and also have their own vini sfusi (fresh, unlabelled wine without sulphites). I can vouch for the quality. The prices are excellent. Depending on the size of the wdding, you should be able to get a good discount.

They should be able to fix you up with spirits etc aswell. They will deliver for you.

They also have an adjoining shop with Tuscan deli (cured meats, chees etc.)

Only Italian spoken though is the only thing.
