Hi.
What's the status with regard to traffic monitoring for GPS in Ireland.
I gather it's pretty poor.

AFAIK neither TMC (radio broadcast) nor traffic info via data are any way developed in Ireland, is that correct?

E.g when ever i've tried the Tomtom traffic info via data thing, it always pertains to the UK and the Continent, not Ireland.

Also anyone know anything about HIGH-DEF traffic monitoring.
Apparently it works by tracking patterns of mobile phone usage and produces real-time data on traffic flows from that.
TBH i could have that completely ar$eways so anyone know any more.
Sounds interesting.
