funny how this has cropped up just a couple of days before it opens.....

Ranges in that part of Dublin must be suffering badly - there are just so many of them competing for the same business.

If you think I am trying to Plug then why the hell would I post about another range in the same area. Previous link to the thread I started. You will also see I have posted in a few of the golf threads because it is on interest.

Yeh the ranges around here are lacking and it is good to see someone trying to cater for people in the area.
Personally I could care for the competing aspects.

    Mods?

Err what's so special about an automated range?

Are people getting so lazy that they can't lift a ball and put it on the mat?

Banging away on an automated tee breeds bad habits (in my opinion obviously).

I would also prefer ranges without mats but that unfortunately doesn't work as the ground can't take it.

Now if you said it's a range with top quality balls and proper greens then I might be interested.

I sort of agree with you. Just think that it is a novelty really.
Good to see money being pumped into golf like that.
And i reckon they wont be PRO V1'S.
I will use it next week at some stage and let ya know what I think. I have passed by it many a time and it was just a shell. I get the impression that it could have been taken over by someone to complete or it was a rush job!

don't see any issue here, git has posted about many other issues on the golf forum and also as he says has had similar posts about competing ranges.
