Nothing new at all as far as I know. Older stuff will work on it (half life 2 and the like) but I don't know how well.

Battlefield 2 (does work in Vista; run in XP compat. mode): low settings
    FEAR: low-medium settings
Dawn of War games: mid-high settings
    Counter Strike Source: medium settings
    Half Life 2: medium - high Dx7
    Ut2k4: Medium
    Far Cry: medium-low
Call of Duty 4: very low*

*Conflicting reports on this one, between barely playable and won't run.

Ouch. That must have a bad enough time running Aero let alone games.
As Cushion says you might be able to get older source games to run on it (Counterstrike Source, Half Life 2) but I would even question how well you would be able to play Team Fortress 2.

if you have any specific questions about which game you would like to run you can have your machine scanned here (quick) and it will tell you if you can run it or not and at what settings you can expect to play it at, if any:

My old laptop has a v similar spec.
I could play Quake 4 on it with low settings (though a funny bug stopped progress a bit into the game anyway.)
Games I played with it were: Rome: Total War, Battlefield 1942, Mafia (v good game), Half Life 2 (800X600 res with no problem), Civilization 4

Sorry I was assuming you had the X3100, if its the older GMA 950 then you're pretty much screwed in terms of anything remotely recent...Half Life 2 works OK at Dx7 640x400 lowest settings, for example, and that's one of the most hardware friendly FPS games in existence. Other games work; FEAR, Doom 3, etc, but at framerates so horrendous it's not worthwhile.

I think it's the X3100 though, and BF2 does work on that card. Have you got newer drivers then the stock ones? Check out somewhere like Notebookreview forums, nice long thread there on the X3100 and best driver releases.

The X3100 isn't that bad really, it's slightly more powerful then Nvidias Go6150 and Ati's X1100 cards.

I just ran FEAR perfectly on medium settings if that can tell you anything? It stopped sometimes at checkpoints but no more

Yes it's definitely the X3100 so my original post still stands.

Call of Duty 2 definitely works on it as well, are you sure you have recent drivers and latest version of directx? What driver do you currently have? Also, Call of Du ty would preform far better in Dx7 mode/high settings then it would in dx9/low-medium settings on that card.

SRL is not very accurate; I'd never rely on it to determine anything. It often detects woeful cards pimped out with excessive memory as strong cards and equally often reports cards as insufficient to run games when they can do so decently at lower settings.

What mb is the video card btw 32,64?

Dynamically allocated 384mb; it takes what it needs at any given time.

What does dynamically allocated mean? 384 mb seems good to me anyway... Any ideas of other good fps's with online play maybe that would work well on this?

It uses system RAM as graphics memory. The integrated chip has no dedicated memory of it's own. Compared to dedicated VRAM, system RAM is much slower. Also, each byte of RAM used for your graphics, is one less byte used to run the game, and vice-versa.

Still not getting anything from Battlefield 2, running as administrator and running in compatibility mode, all I get is the loading screen, then it goes, screen goes black and everything is back to normal... Any more remedies peeps?

Dynamically allocated means that the card takes your system memory as it requires it, so on the desktop, it takes 8mb, but upon booting a game that'll increase as the game requires more texture memory. BF2 definitely works on that card, so I'm not sure what's wrong, again, have you updated the drivers? Also, is BF2 patched?
