Question about dell outlet laptop?

Wondering if anybody can shed some light on the following? I am looking at laptops on dell outlet site. I know they are refurbished, all i want to know is whether dell give a new battery with it or do they just ship with the old battery. Thanks.

The once I got all (laptop & battery) seemed brand new. AFAIK they are returns and cancelled orders.

In a lot of cases they aren't even refurbished just orders that were cancelled. The batteries are the ones that were initially shipped with the system as far as I know.

I have a machine from outlet and 3 friends have bought laptops off it, all 100% perfect, not a mark on them. As almightycushion said, i think most are cancelled orders. There is a chance there will be small cosmetic "damage", nothing more than scratches. Shop around and you should be able to pick up a bargain.
