DTT trial with freeview

    Was down in Wexford this weekend, and managed to pickup both freeview and the BCI trial on the same TV.

    It was intermittent, but it was great to get a glimpse of what an epg could be like after the digital switchover & the power is increased. Hopefully some sensible spectrum management will come into play.

    i would like to know how to watch the scrambled channels on dtt...
    getting them on my home tv and on the pc stick but no chance to watch it,

    e.g. extreme sports

    i attached a pic from programs which i pick up but can not see (except rte1,2, tv3 and tg4 + radio) but what is with the other tv channels how can i watch these?

    any ideas?

    :( which i am not unfortunately...

    but at least i found out that the HD test channel is really HD

    here is a pic of 2 recordings with BlazeDTV tv3 + this test channel, data rate of HD is ca 5x higher as standard tv..

    it looks great on my laptop (17" 1920x1200) but can not see it on tv because no HD-receiver here, getting only a message on screen "HD Service"... same for this Oirechtas-thing, also in HD
