    Hey lads, looking for a hd recorder like the alesis hd24. Anyone have one they want to rent?

    Ridiculously cheap too. I used have one . It sounds ok too. Stick a good A2D on it and you'd have a fairly snazzy rig.
    As far as I remember it records on it's own format so copying to anything else is a pain in the ring modulator.

    I recorded our own New Taoiseacht himself for a live album in a pub a few years ago!

    I was thinking of an alesis hd24 with something like an allen and heath wizard with about six naint condensers. Would be nice for them choir/ acoustic gigs. For rock gigs just run a direct out from every channel

    I dont REALLY want all that fancy stuff. I would much prefer run the wizard into something like a HD24. The wizard is the biz. No messing and reliable and clear. Used one in nearly every band i played in
