Corrupt ipod

Hi Turned on my 30GB ipod video this morning and it has no music on it (the capacity is as it was last night though), iTunes requested a restore and that the ipod is corrupt. It is taking ages to contact the 'ipod software source' for the restore, from doing a search on this it appears that even if it does restore it will…

Hi

Turned on my 30GB ipod video this morning and it has no music on it (the capacity is as it was last night though), iTunes requested a restore and that the ipod is corrupt.

It is taking ages to contact the 'ipod software source' for the restore, from doing a search on this it appears that even if it does restore it will still be corrupt and some other suggestions on enabling in disk mode.

Anyone know anything about this im worried here !!

fixed it there by restoring on a PC the powerbook would'nt do it so its sorted now anyway.
