M3 or R4?

Hi,
I got a DS for meself recently and I think its pretty cool.

Next on my list of things to get is a flashcard.

I've been researching a few, and from what I can tell, the R4 seems to top the list. However, it does not support SDHC, which I'd rather have. I'll be travelling a lot over the next while and the more I can store on it, the better.

So, should I go for the M3, which supprts SDHC, or another SDHC compatible card? Or just stick with the R4?

A friend of mine has the Firecard and she says its quite good too, so I'm looking for advice from anyone on here who maybe knows much more about them than me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have the R4 and no complaints. It does a great job holds all my games, music and videos. Very handy for traveling. I have a 4GB card does the job. If you need more space then that the TopToy DSTT is meant to be a great cheap alternative to the R4 and supports SDHC cards. It can be found on this link.

The DSTT from what I've heard is a not-quite-as-good copy of the CycloDS Evolution.

I got the CycloDS Evolution card myself, and it's a fantastic card, supports SDHC cards, along with built in cheat engine, real time saves + loads, and loads more.

Realistically the cycloDS biggest advantage over other cards is its real time save feature... you have to ask yourself is that worth more than €20(cyclo is €40 from site Damo bought off, DSTT is €17 from dealextreme)

If it is get the cyclo,

if not i second the recomendation of the DSTT.

€40 is a little over... I bought 3 of them, and including postage it came to like €106 or something... so roughly €33 each or so...

Lost track now of how often I've used the real time save feature though, it really is excellent!

Is it possible to get a r4 card with a 4Gb SD card?

Im looking at the r4 card or the CycloDS but there seens to be a big jump on the price between these two.

Its all about SDHC. its a different architecture from the other non-SDHC cards so if u get an SDHC 4GB card then it WONT work with an R4. however, if u find a non-SDHC 4GB card, then it may possibly work.

I eventually went with the TopToy DSTT with this, and i got an 8GB SDHC MicroSD off eBay for like 27 euro, for the DSTT+MicroSD card+delivery, it came to less than 50 quid! chuffed!

My R4 broke the other day so was going to get a new one but they have stopped production of them..So what is a good card instead to get guys?
