Don't live there but have been there, nice enuf allright. Do you know anyone going down to the college aswell. If ya wanna meet new people places like riverwalk or manor village would be good choices although manor has a reputation for parties every night apparently so maybe ya prefer quieter surrounding? Riverwalk i lived there, was nice bit of a walk in alright but only on rainy days.

I dont know anyone down there yet as i am from Galway but i would like to get a feel for the place first and i do like peace and quiet so i think i will go with College Fields unless there is any reason why not to

It's comparable to Castlewhite in UCC - it's close to the college, but because of this the interior and furnishing aren't up to that of recently built apartments.

As far as convenience goes, there's nothing like it and you can roll out of bed at 9:10 and be in your lecture for 9:15!

Living in Manor now, nice accomodation, internets a bit sh/ite but it does the job.

As regards strictness, the night security can be pretty strict as regards parties & that, but only when you have 20-25 people in an apartment built to accomodate 4, or when the music is blaring. It's always a case of if a party gets shut down in one room, theres going to be an open door somewhere else where someone will move the party to.
