I am doing a distance learning course from a uk college where i get a college certificate afterwards. I am hoping to change careers and i have no experience or qualifications for the career im going for and Im doing the course in the hope that employers would at least know i am interested and take me on. But my question is, do i mention this on my cv. This distance learning course is the only relevent thing i have got for the career im going for.

Abolutely. Put it on your CV.

Your cover letter is your friend here too. Use it to talk about your love for the area you're studying, etc.
