RTE Media Player

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to watch programs online using the RTE Media Player.

    When I try to watch a program I get a message saying "You must be in Ireland to view this content."

    I used it last week without any problems.

    I'm in Ireland with an Eircom address! I've restarted the broadband connection from the router and got a new IP address but still no joy.

    Any ideas?

    Try clearing your cache/temporary files.

    Says I'm based in Switzerland and my ISP is Google!

    In reality I'm in Waterford with Eircom :(

    I'd guess this is why you're being geoblocked.

    Are you using a VPN or changed anything recently that might have caused it?

    No haven't changed a thing!!

    Rang spybot there just incase but everything is in order....bar the fact I'm supposedly based in Switzerland!! :D
