Are SKY taking the Pi**

I got a call this morning, I cant install SKy + because you dont have a phone line, I will install today but you need a new book ref from SKY

I call sky on 0818 719 852 - no he is wrong, def wrong, you do not need a phone line to install sky Plus, call install people.

Next call to 0818717829
You do need a phone line to install sky + I am now told, you need to call 'engineer' back and get him to call us, but erm he wont call withough a new booking reference if he will install you can have sky plus for 32.50 one off charge without a charge

WHAT THE F**** do they want us as customers or not, they took the 200 euro install fee in a sec, but no sky 3 weeks later.:mad:

Not sure what the latest on it is, but when I got installed - yes it was a requirement.

Although I think you can now pay a once off fee.

The phoneline is not required, though you pay a once-off fee of €37.50.

It would seem that those you call, or who call you, are not fully clued up on offerings available.
