Philips 23PF4321 Fault

I have this tv http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-23PF4321-Widescreen-Ready-LCD/dp/B000E192DG Lately when I turn it on, there's a bright vertical red line going down the left side of the screen, it goes away after about half an hour but comes back when I turn the tv on again. Any idea what could be causing this? thanks.

Hi Shane - John McDonald here from The Philips Shop in Dame Street in Dublin - it does not sound good - has the TV taken a knock at all as it sounds like a sector of the LCD panel is out - these have been reliable sets in general but please give us a bell on 01 474 0788 if we can help at all
