It depends on where your based many communities have some services in place, try checking local directories as a start. I don't want to intrude but to give you an example from my personal life I am quite familar with therapy services in Dublin. However, I recently lost my Father, the hospice team only offer counselling after four months, I can understand the rational for for that, but was still somewhat suprised.

I guess what I'm saying is give yourself some time its a long process.

There should be a bereavement service in most hospitals. If your loved one died in hospital, you should contact them. Like the previous poster, I lost my beloved Dad and realised after a few months that I was not coping very well. I found a support group in my local community centre. I attended for 6 sessions and found it invaluable. Keep looking in your locality, you will find something. Best of luck, trust me, the pain will ease.
