I've got 1200 unread mails in a gmail acc - How to select all

    They are actually boards notifications of updates to threads I have participated in. I forgot about the account there for a while.

    It's seems you can only view 50 mails at a time and thus only mark 50 as read by selecting all.

    There's 50 pages. I don't see any obvious thing to enable more than 50 per view at a time.

    Anyone know if gmail has this capability?

    Gmail's settings allow you to show at most 100 messages per page, so I'm thinking that for mass changing connecting via IMAP might be your best bet.

    Directly above the list of emails, or conversations in gmails terms, but below the archive, report, delete buttons there's the option to select all. When you press that just below that option and still above the conversations is a message that says "All x conversations on this page are selected", with a link to select all y conversations in inbox. Then you can just select "mark unread" from the "more actions" drop down (beside the archive, delete, report)

    Then select all on the page, then all that match the search similar to below;
