    I can't believe they were ever allowed call it that.
    I bet if someone tried to open "Cafe Hitler"/"Cafe Mugabe"/"Cafe Kim Jong-Il" there would be uproar.

    It must be quite offensive for Chinese people in Dublin to see it!

    It's probably more of a reference to the game Mao, which in itself may be a refernce to the man himself. However, he is revered as a revolutionary by many in China, so I guess it's all based on perspective.

    And bogof??

    No, they have images of Chairman Mao all over the restaurant. AFAIK it's not owned by Chinese people either.

    +1 lovely food... the 1/2 price house white is quite nice too :D

    All in all, fairly good value...
