    Yo yo,
Having major Issues wit my browsing here and wondering if you folks may have uggestions as to why:
If using Internet Explorer it slows to a halt when I use it for a period of time- like crawls along until it dies. If I reboot the system it starts fine again and then after a period dies again.
I am assuming there is some TSR running that is overloading or something but can't put my finger on it or why it suddenlys tarted happening like.

    Anyone had anything simlar?

Firefox is instaled but I can't get the damn thing to work at all even (side note) will sort this though.

    Mark

It sounds like some kind of spyware/malware problem, particularly if firefox isn't running at all. Do a good virus scan first, with something like AVG if you don't already have AV software. Then try some dedicated spyware/adware scanners, I tend to use both Spybot S&D and Adaware, the combination of the two is very good, there are other good ones out there too though. Once you've cleared off anything they find, try running hijackthis, this will show you all of your startup programs, and also any plugins or addons for IE, it doesn't try to identify which ones are good or bad, but you can google anything you don't recognise. Finally you might want to try something likt CCleaner to remove any junk as well.
