    Russian department or organizations
To be visited (for ordinary visas)

14 Index and name of the tourist group
    Индекс, наименование туристской группы

Does the first question apply ? am having two week holiday in Russia ?

And I'm not going as a tourist Group , just two of us travelling, the "Invitation" documentation is from Interservice Center, should I put that in as the Tourist Group ?

    Any help appreciated

For the first one list the places you will be visiting i.e. Moscow, St. Petersburg, where ever - you don't need to be more specific.

Not sure about the second one but I would call them and check it. They can be picky and hold up an application over the form being incorrectly completed (like many other embassies).

No, the first question does not apply unless you are visiting any organisations, which you aren't. The places you are visiting will be listed in your 'route of journey'.
The name and index number of your tourist group should be the name and index number of your inviting organisation. (Should be pretty obvious on invitation/tourist voucher)

    hey

    you're being a great help.

The stamp on the vouchers quote a number, probably thats it

if I sent you the voucher could you make sense of it ? I just want to get this done so I can book the rest of it, and i don't want it rejected delayed.

My travel companion has fluent Russian etc but to be honest has the organizational skills of a gnat!

    cheers

Why not go into the visa office in the embassy - they're in Rathgar and they're helpful. They know most people can't read Russian. And I believe that when they say "department" they mean it in a geographical sense, like in France.

I would do but they are only open 9 -12 weekdays
so I'd have to travel up, take a day off work, which is difficult as I am taking so many as holidays :)

and its crazy there at the moment with the soccer match, long queues with people sent away to come back tomorrow

I guess it will quieten down after 21st ( the soccer match) and can wait, but really anxious to get visa sorted so can plan everything else

Will be ok dont worry :) Embassy rep said that all those fans who have match tickets they do not need a viza.
