Can anyone help me, can't seem to select a manufacturer for the old style mini, using quinn direct though, direct me elsewhere if needed, just want to check out the price for now.

Here's a pic http://images.carzone.ie/images/CB4_990301_1_162045.jpg , will make an offer, dealer is asking silly cash (its a jap import though so should be rust free + even looks a bit bonkers, note the wheels!)

Quinn won't insure a car that old online usually but the manufacturer would be "austin" or "rover", both of which its offering me on the list....

Have you tried under Rover / Austin-Rover ?

    EDIT: second ...again :D

I tried Austin, totally forgot about Rover, though I just spent the last few minutes talking about its rover sourced engine, idiotic me, nice one lads. :pac:

Its not under Rover either actually! Just checked myself. BMC isn't there either.

Unless its 1993+ Quinn won't talk to ye about it though. Also forgot there are post 1993 ones particularly Japan spec.

1993? I thought Quinn refused it if it was older than 10 years.
Is it a classic yet? Try Carole Nash.

Found it under Rover, I wish I hadnt, €2,482.58 until I get my full licence :( Mind you its €1500 then.

I've never had a problem with old modern cars and quinn.

    15 isn't it?

1998 would be on 10 anyway.

    I hadn't realised it was a '98 until after I had posted.
