It is out tomorrow. I saw a good length preview on Playr (Bravo's new games show) last weekend. Looks like my kind of game. If its budget priced (less than 50) I might pick it up. Already got GTA4 and Wii Fit in the last few weeks, so I'll wait and see.

i saw this on some gamer show as well and it looked interesting. i dont think i would fget it if it was full priced though. Stephen Spielberg has something to do with it right?

I had a look around and I think it is full price (€60).
I'll wait a few months for it to drop a bit - plenty to keep me going at the moment.

Got it yesterday, had a few games last night. Its very enjoyable so far!

Was playing 4 player last night with 2 people who hate to play computer games, its a little slower than i though it would be, but sill a good laugh!

Just played it for 2 hours. More of a workout than Wii Fit.
(Admittedly just for my right bicep and shoulder, but still....)

My arm is killing me. Superb game.

Anyone know how to finish the first Tiki (Jungle) level?

You have a bunch of purple blocks to seemingly make stairs, but the gorilla destroys them before you have a chance to move them.....

Figured it out - extreme case of overthink-itis.

Was loving this game till I reached an impossible level - it's the 2nd last level on the Spooky levels, called 'grave battle'. You have to defend some kittens from 84 spooks on all sides. I don't think it's possible, and i'm getting soooo angry. I think that's the end of the game for me, has ANYONE done this? It's also wrecking my wii controller...

I'm stuck there too, planetX.
I've come very VERY close, but its a killer (and I hear the last level is more of the same!)

I'll give you a tip.... plug in a nunchuk and use it to control the camera.

Am I correct in assuming there's no online play in Boom Blox? If so, it's such a shame...

I think it's easily the most enjoyable multiplayer Wii game since Wii Sports. I can't understand why they don't have a multiplayer option, especially since a lot of it is turn-based...

What about downloading / obtaining custom levels from other people?

Correct, no online play.
You can download levels made by your friends if you have registered their friend code.
I'd love to see batches of new downloadable levels from Nintendo, but I doubt that'll happen.

I was considering getting this for some post exam period brain melting fun! Is it still as enjoyable as the first impressions suggest or does it get less fun after a while?

Yeah its a really good game. I'm not sure the longevity is there though. Its fun, but there is f**k all reward for getting gold stars in every level, so there is no incentive to master it - you'll do just enough to get through it and see all the levels.

Multiplayer is great fun, and will probably last you longer than single player (if you have friends who like to come over and wii with you)
