Nitrocellulose Lacquer

Anybody know where I can get some nitrocellulose laquer in Ireland? I've found suppliers in USA and UK but they can't ship it to Ireland. It's for a guitar I'm building. Nitrocellulose is what's on professionally made guitars because of it allows the wood to vibrate naturally. If anyone could suggest an alternative product either that might help. My head is beginning to melt as I've spent hours shaping and sanding and now I want to finish it just right.

    Thanks

Isn't it just normal cellulose lacquers?

Try Morrells Woodfinishes... other companies in the yellow pages but Morrells are good and should have that stuff. You could ask for technical advice and tell the guy what you need it for.

I wouldn't have thought the type of finish would have a huge effect on the sound but it's still nice to do everything perfectly.

    Cheers
    Joe
