How many times do you see your OH?

Ok so this is something i thought of in the bus last night!

How often in a week would you see your OH? Obviously if you dont live with them I mean?

I overheard a conversation on the bus last night between a guy on the phone with his GF, he was giving out that they hadnt seen each other all week. So, i pose the question, how often is enough?

I remember when I was seeing someone I would see him probably 2/3 times a week..? That was enough for me.

So how often is acceptable?

Early in the relationship we lived 50 miles from each other and only got to see each other on a Friday night/Saturday morning - thanks to her for taking the train every week

For a couple of years before we lived together we'd see each other nearly day. We worked in the same place on two different occassions. Then we lived around the corner from each other.

I see him once or twice during the week and then most Saturday nights and all day Sunday.. He lives in Kildare so it's a bit of a journey for us...

Is Open House still on the go? Used to see it 4/5 times a week.

Used to see him every day, then I moved to Scotland and saw him once in 6 months. When I came home I went to college so now I only see him at weekends but we're about to move in together. Until then we've decided not to see each other at all.

We seem to go from seeing each other all the time to never!

Rarely anymore, her webcam is broken. We still talk on MSN but it's not the same, the closeness is gone

When we both lived in Ireland it was probably at least 4/5 times a week.

However over the summer (she's still a student) we live together here for the entire three months (does that make up for it?).

Skype is brilliant even have it on my mobile now and costs me nothing to make/receive calls on it so we can talk whenever she's at a computer.

I go to see her after work on Wednesdays, stay in hers so see her Thursday morning before I leave for work. Then we meet up on Friday after work where we either go to hers or mine and spend the weekend together. Again see her Monday morning before going to work.

Spending too much time together can be as bad as not seeing each other at all, i would say 2 times a week is enough.

She stays in my place from friday evening until monday morning so all weekend and we see each other 2-3 days during the week.

Before we moved in together, probably 6 days out of 7 including spending all the weekend together.

We see each other most days of the week; maybe not so much on the weekend as usually I'm stuck in work. Some posts have suggestions about how many days you should spend together - I think thats a load of rubbish. It all depends on the couple. Maybe for some people its only once a week, for others it could be the seven days, but there is no definitive amount of time that should be spent together. I'd be delighted seeing my girlfriend every day.

Almost every day, minimum 4-5 times a week unless one of is is away or something. It does get a bit much sometimes but mostly its grand - I enjoy his company. If it feels like we're seeing too much of each other, I enjoy meeting friends or having a quiet night in watching TV but we usually want to see each other.
