    Guys

    I am looking to see if someone can help me. I have an Itouch which I do not want to jailbreak. However I am looking for an app that I can download that will allow my Itouch to remember username & passwords for wifi hotspots that I use.
    Anyone know of some app that will let me do this?

    It automatically remembers Wi-Fi connections that you make. I assume you mean if you go to a friends house and input their password that it'll remember it? Or do you mean something completely different?!

    My iPod Touch has remembered every network I've connected to without any special apps installed. So does my MBP and PowerBook, once they find a familiar network they connect unless you have selected "Ask To Join Networks" in which case it . . . well . . . asks first !?

    Edit: On the whole iTouch topic - does anyone think the bottom picture on the website is somehow wrong . . .

    People are confusing things here.

    Wifi networks and there WEP security settings are rememebered. I dont think this is what the OP means.

    When using hotspots in places like McDonalds or the airport you have normally have to set up an account or buy vouchers off them. You connect to there network with no security but then the only webpage that will be displayed is there there own web site where you are normally asked to enter a username and password or a voucher id.

    I'm guessing these username and passwords are what the OP wants remembered. There is no application in the iPod Touch to do this (maybe there is one if you jailbreak but I doubt it), have a look in the web page presented and see if there is a remember me button. If not then sorry ya got remember them yourself. Use the notes app for this.
