    Great photo, not sure if i like the crop. DOF is spot on however in this instance it puts a strain on the eye and makes the photo look a tad bit photoshopped [damn technology ;)]

    I think the DoF is just right, if it was any more blurry you wouldn't be able to make out the background at all, and if it was any less, it'd be competing for attention with the frame. If anything, all I'd be inclined to do is desaturate the background slightly to balance it up a bit more.

    I do think it's framed a bit tight round the window itself too.

    What is it with photographers and old houses? I just love that stuff...
