Need GPS and Mobile internet

I would like to get a phone that
    a) has internet access
    b) has GPS

I know there are a good few options for both, however, the main use for the GPS would not be for maps/directions. I would plan to use it on local golf courses. I would aim to just walk the course and "save" the 18 greens as constant points and the next time I play a round I will ask the GPS how far am I from location 1 (1st green) when I'm on the tee box or fairway. It would be very handy when playing and would feed my techinical side! Also, I like to do a bit of running and it would be cool to know the distances of some of my routes. I wouldn't need a phone that could take the abuse or be sleek enough to carry while running, but if I were to walk the routes it could tell me the distance I have travelled using the GPS.

Are there phones out there that could do this???

    hi,

im not sure about the golf course thing altho im sure it could be done?

re the rest, the nokia n82 or n95 8gb are your best bet,

id go for the n82, its a candy bar so no flimsy slider.

nokia have a great app called sport tracker which does it exactly what you want, distance run, altitude, av, max and min speeds and also has an inbuilt pedometer so counts steps!

you can upload it to the website then and it shows you your run on a map.

Not quite sure if this helps but if you opted for an S60 nokia such as the N95 & then download Sports Tracker (Free) from Nokia Beta Labs website. Save each hole as a route. That might do the trick.
There is also a free app called wayfinder active (http://www.activeoutdoor.com/Activeoutdoor/) which is similar. I think its a java app so would work with most handsets with built in gps
