Just wondering which club is better for 5-10m distances?

also technique-wise, do they tell you in a club what you are doing wrong and how to fix it?

(I'm a bit of a plodder, I put a lot of effort in but make slow progress)

    Thanks

(Sorry if this has been asked a million times before)

Not a member of either club but if I was a relative newcomer I'd try Crusaders. They train Tuesdays and Thursdays in Irishtown track and have groups for all abilities. Regarding technique, on longer stuff the coaches may not give too many pointers without being asked but I'm sure if you said could someone have a look at you they would or even some of the other athletes would too.

To be honest, it depends what you're after. Yes, Crusaders do train at Irishtown track on a Tuesday, however, whenever I've been there there's literally 100 people milling around the track. Reminds me of Lemmings :)

To truely succeed, you'll need a bit more "one-to-one" coaching, as opposed to following the masses regardless of what would be better tailored to your own personal levels, goals etc.

But, if you're just there with a big group to motivate you to do it, I would imagine the Crusader scene would be worth it.
