    Hi All,

I am moving to Borris, Co. Carlow and have just received planning permission for to build a house there. I am looking for recommendations for builder/contractor to build 218 sqm timber frame house. As you can imagine, not being a native of the area I don't know of any builders and would appreciate any recommendations that you folks may have. (builders you have used in the past etc).

Any and all help would be greatfully appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Hi

I hope its ok to reply with a bit of general advice (I'm new to this so if not please delete)

To be sure you are using a reputable company I would suggest you check first if the company are registered with the CIF and C2 registered. That way you know you won't be dealing with the cowboys. Hope this helps.
