Skype Question

Hi Was on to a friend of mine in the US last night on Skype... I got cut off and when I called back from Skype again there was a random Irish mobile number showing on her mobile phone... Not my mobile number and it was not familiar to me. Is that possible and why does it happen? Thanks Sarah
