I think if you ever misclick you should give up poker completely and not be allowed drive or operate heavy machinery (id say vote too but id be inundated by serious posts from Doc Farrel and others accusing me of racism)

If you cant click a simple button right, how are you supposed to understand poker theory?

The reason for many misclick complaints on ipoker is because you only have to click to triger an action instead of click and release like the old tribeca. On tribeca you had to click then release the click for it to accept the command which means if you realised you made a mistake as you click you can just slide off the button and your ok. The click and release rocked and would save 31% of accidental misclicks imo.
I mentioned this in a suggestion thread when ipoker first came out and didnt recieve a single goddamned "'." in agreeance and now yer all moaning.

I have done it a few times whilst using the touchpad on the laptop. Hasn't cost me seriously yet though.

One other thing, have you ever noticed the amount of hands in the BB thread where someone says "don't mind preflop, that was a misclick" or "I misclicked min raise by mistake". Ya sure you did ;)

pokernews have it wrong though I called a raise on the button, then
went to check the bet pot button and as I did he checked so the bet pot button disappeared and I min-bet.
Still wasnt in terrible shape on the turn imo

The most annoying time it happened me was in an EPT sat a few years back, there were about 25 left with 10 tickets, and I was in the top 10. Someone raised when I was in the BB, and instead of pressing the fold checkbox, I press the call any box. Someone else reshoved and I noticed too late and failed to stop it in time. I lost almost 1/2 of my chips in that hand, although I flopped an openender so nearly sucked out on him. That would hav ebeen a happy misclick ending. I went out in 19th or something after that. :(

It happens me a fair bit. Funny one i had a while back
I had AA on button at a 50.1 table folded to me
I misclick all in for 100$, bb calls!! I was like sweet
he has 99 and a 9 high flop comes. I chatted to him after the hand
and he said he called cause he figured i mislicked.
With the flop 9 high I would have lost a lot and possibly a full buy-in anyhow

I find myself tapping the touchpad too quickly often folding or minraising my hands which is a bit annoying!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,125 ✭✭✭lee_arama

Was making a button raise with J7clubs in a 1/2 cash game months back and got distracted, and accidently added a zero to the end of the bet, putting me all in. Small blind insta-calls with AKclubs...

Spiked the 7 and won it. Plenty accidents out there I imagine.
