Just watching the kempo world championships on sky sports. An Irish lad just won the individual forms sections. Some mad **** going on and some even worse/better commentary but it's on sky sports!

Well done to the Irish lad who won the World Championship. Its not my particular sport or style, but its good to see the Irish doing well, no matter what style.

The entire results of the competition are up on the Jersey Kenpo Website, I can't remember the address but google Jersey Kenpo World Championship Results if you're interested. There was a good few Irish winners alright. Six people went over from the club I train in, I can't for the life of me remember the stuff they won but they did come home with a couple of gold medals.

NC, what was the commentary like? I've never heard any martial arts competition on TV.

Well done to Jonathan Tully btw

There was some chick presenting the show and then 2 blokes commentating over the kata and all that stuff. One of the guys was like the kempo expert saying stuff like "these katas require a tremendous amount of body strenght to perform" and lots of similar nonsense. Kempo came across very well on it.
