Eye Sight

I have a lazy eye as its known.

The vision standard requirement of a Garda trainee is Binocular Vision of not less than 6/18, 6/18 (correctable to 6/9, 6/12) unaided by glasses or contact lenses, with normal color vision.

The eye requirements for a driving licence are

The person shall have a visual acuity (with corrective lenses, where necessary) of not less than 0.5 (6/12) when using both
    eyes together.
The horizontal field of`vision of the person shall not be less than 150o
A person with sight in one eye only shall have a visual acuity (with corrective lenses, where necessary) of not less than
0.6 (6/10), an unrestricted field of vision in the eye concerned and the monocular vision must have existed for sufficient
    time to allow adaptation.

Now, when i did the eye test for the licence i was told that i just about passed to drive unaided by glasses etc.

Do ye think that i would meet the garda requirements from this information??

    thanks;)
